I'm Maria.
In 2019 I accidentally discovered that filling small circles with 200 tiny dots made my brain shut up. Not in a meditation way. In a "oh, we're just making dots now" way.
My thoughts got bored and wandered off.
So naturally I became obsessed.
What else does this?

✓ One section solid black? (Why does this feel like winning?)
✓ Complicated Celtic knots? (No, exhausting, never again.)
I kept only what felt like a small vacation.
Six years of playing scientist— trying patterns, timing them, asking friends "does this one make you feel accomplished or annoyed?"
Turns out the magic formula is stupidly simple:
→ Simple patterns.
→ Clear sections.
→ Up to 15 minutes.
Done.
Like finding out the fancy recipe just needed salt.

As a complete novice, I never thought I'd move past stick figures. But Full Bloom's VIP Membership changed that! Now, I'm creating vibrant, lively drawings that make my family chuckle and ask for more. The journey from clueless to 'Hey, that's not bad!' has been unexpectedly hilarious and fulfilling. If you could add some historical art influences, it’d be the cherry on top!

I am currently using the zen doodle toolkit, and I don't have to search about this anywhere else. The toolkit is subscription-free and has no expiry which I like. It feels good that I can practice this intricate art anytime I want with a pen or on tablet.
Would love to have more feather templates as these are my favorites. But must admit the toolkit contains a lot of materials and resources, far more than expected.

Initially, I didn't know if I could doodle as I was average at creative stuff. So, my friend recommended Full Bloom Club and narrated the benefits of doodling. And wow! Now I feel how easily I learned creative doodling, and it helped me control my anxiety, and the tutorials are enjoyable.
The only thing I would add is more real time (not so fast!) videos to follow as I find them both relaxing and inspirational.
