Why This Exists
I'm Maria.
In 2019 I accidentally discovered that filling small circles with 200 tiny dots made my brain shut up. Not in a meditation way. In a "oh, we're just making dots now" way.
My thoughts got bored and wandered off.
So naturally I became obsessed.
What else does this?
✓ Parallel lines filling a petal? (Oh wow, yes.)
✓ One section solid black? (Why does this feel like winning?)
✓ Complicated Celtic knots? (No, exhausting, never again.)
I kept only what felt like a small vacation.
Six years of playing scientist— trying patterns, timing them, asking friends "does this one make you feel accomplished or annoyed?"
Turns out the magic formula is stupidly simple:
→ Simple patterns.
→ Clear sections.
→ Up to 15 minutes.
Done.
Like finding out the fancy recipe just needed salt.

Without an A, you could not get
an A+ on a test.
You’d never see an acrobat
or eat an apple pie.
You couldn’t be an astronaut
or kiss your aunt goodbye.
An antelope would not exist.
An ape would be unknown.
You’d never hear a person
say “Afraid” or “All Alone”.
The A’s in avocado
would completely disappear
and certain words would be forgot
like “ankle”, “arm”, and “ear”."

This made us laugh so much! Each guest was given 1 min to come up with a cute shark drawing and follow the step by step instruction. Each person had different drawing experience which made it even more fun to compare and discuss the drawings in the end. Hilarious stories were born and comparisons made. Really enjoyed it and looking forward to round 2 on my upcoming birthday party! Love the designs and def will try the unicorn next!
